• What kind of permits are needed?

  Once we are able to meet with you about your deck project, we will know what type of building permits are needed to file with the city and county. Be wary of anyone who tells you that you don’t need a permit or a contractor who isn’t aware of what type of permits are needed.

• Do you have any references?

  We are more than happy to provide you references for your deck and/or exterior projects. You may also check out our project page to see a selection of the projects we’ve done.

• How strong is the decking floor, and what materials are used?

  The strength of your floor is one of the most important things that you need to know about the deck you’re having installed.  When we meet, we’ll discuss how the floor will be braced, and talk about materials. There are several different types of wood that can be used, and each one has different characteristics. We’ll can also talk about fading, water resilience, and longevity for each type of material that you are considering.

  Depending on the materials, there should be manufacturer warranties, and we offer guarantees on our work.
